Asiaspirit - Internet web design
Having a website on line does not mean being on internet! To obtain and increase a website visibility it has first to be published to all search engines and directories to increase visibility. As a site can be read (MUST) from any page to any direction and in no specific order, the website design and concept has to take this fact in consideration.

Scott and Victor
Scott & Victor Tan
Country: Malaysia
Program: Undergraduate Engineering Pathway

Imagine yourself in your frst week here.
How have you changed since then?

Scott: I have changed not so much just... I have a lot of American friends. And, they are very friendly. My roommate is from Oregon. There is no culture shock for us because I changed my mindset…I decided to learn as much as I can about the culture and share my country’s culture. I ask my American friends to teach me the American accent!

Victor: When I frst arrived, my roommate was very friendly. That really impressed me. Most Americans are friendly, same as my roommate.

What surprised you most about the United States?
Was there anything you weren’t expecting?

Scott: We have watched a lot of TV shows from the US, so we were not surprised! Everyone is so friendly and this impressed me a lot. I expected that the dorms are not good. But, actually it is very good! Not so small and not so big. But it is quite comfortable. We are the frst residents in this residence hall. We feel lucky!

What is your favorite thing about living in the United States?

Scott: Actually, I would like to learn to long board. That sounds cool. Also, I like to learn how to speak with an American accent because I love the American accent!
